• Little Heroes Foundation is a charity foundation, which launched its activities following an initiative taken by Loucas Fourlas in 2017.
• The Foundation is registered with the Registrar of Associations and
Institutions of the Republic of Cyprus pursuant to the Law on Associations and Institutions and other related matters and has the
registry number LEY/I/23.

The Foundation focuses on providing psychological and, most importantly, financial support to families of children battling cancer and leukemia who are hospitalized at the Pediatric Oncology Department of Makarios Hospital or receiving treatment abroad.

It was established to promote, support, and develop charitable initiatives for the public benefit. The Foundation also contributes to the development of infrastructure, including buildings and medical equipment, and supports research in the fight against childhood cancer.

The Foundation is supported through charity events organized by various organizations, groups, and individuals who wish to stand with children fighting cancer.

Every year, hundreds of families choose to purchase the Foundation’s symbolic bookmarks instead of traditional gifts for their weddings or their child’s christenings — turning their special moments into meaningful contributions that support the Foundation’s mission.
CHILDHOOD CANCER INFORMATION
• Each year, approximately 250,000 children around the world are diagnosed with cancer, of which only 20% have access to proper medical care.
• 70% – 80% of children who have access to specialized treatment come out victorious with the advancement of medicine and due to the adequacy of medicines and qualified scientific staff.
• More than 150,000 deaths each year could have been avoided if early diagnosis andspecialized treatment was available for all children.
