COLOSSUS
The Colossus is one of the more challenging and imposing obstacles in our course lineup. It typically features a towering wooden or metal structure, often around 6-7 meters high, designed to test participants’ upper body strength, agility, and teamwork. To overcome it, participants must scale the large wall using ropes or footholds, then navigate over the top and descend safely on the other side.
The main elements include:
Climbing up: A steep wall or slope that often requires pulling oneself up using a rope or with the assistance of teammates.
The summit: Once at the top, participants usually face a flat or narrow platform.
Descending: A controlled descent down the other side, which may have ropes or ladder-like grips to help or tubes through which you slide in a muddy pool.
It’s a test of courage, coordination, and collaboration, where teamwork can make a big difference in completing it successfully.
